We are the premier wrestling club in the Owensboro area. We provide opportunities to practice and compete in Folkstyle Wrestling for any Boy or Girl in First through Eighth Grade.
2025/26 Youth Winter Season (K - 5th)
October 20, 2025 - February 8, 2026 - Practice Mon/Wed/Thurs 5:45-7:15pm.
Owensboro Catholic High School Wrestling Room
First through Fifth Grade with at least 1 season of wrestling experience
$300 per wrestler

October 20, 2025 - February 7, 2026 - Practice Monday through Thursday 3:15-5:30pm.

Sixth through Eighth Grade (No Experience Required)
$300 per wrestler

Volunteer opportunities are available to lower the cost per wrestler. Please get with Coach Allen prior to registering if you are interested in volunteering to knock off up to $200 of your wrestler's fees!

2024/2025 Middle School Regional Runner Ups
Aces Wrestling Club took 2nd place out of 16 teams in the 2024/25 KY Middle School Region 2 Wrestling Tournament, sending 13 wrestlers on to the KY Middle School State Wrestling Tournament.
2024/2025 Youth Regional 3rd Place
Aces Wrestling Youth Club took 3rd place out of 18 teams in the 2024/25 KY Youth Region 2 Wrestling Tournament, sending 20 wrestlers on to the KY Youth State Wrestling Tournament.
Aces Middle School Wrestling Team takes 13th at State
The Aces Middle School Wrestling Team took 13th place out of 88 team at the KY Wrestling State Tournament. Teddy Brauer become the first ever Aces Wrestling Club Middle School State Champion in the 150lb. weight class.
Aces Wrestling Club is Open to ALL Wrestlers!
Aces wrestling is open to all boys and girls in Owensboro and the surrounding areas. Although all practices are held at Owensboro Catholic High School, you do not have to be enrolled in the Catholic School System to wrestle with us. Aces Wrestling Club is chartered through USA Wrestling and is not affiliated with the Owensboro Catholic School system.
Wrestling is fun, but it is also a difficult sport; any person willing to come to practice and do the work will earn, and be shown, the proper respect. We are excited to welcome any and all wrestlers into our wrestling family.

OUR bEGINNER YOUTH LEAGUE FOR AGES KINDERGARTEN THROUGH SIXTH GRADE RUNS FROM EARLY MARCH THROUGH EARLY MAY. REGISTRATION WILL POST IN LATE jANUARY! FOLLOW ACES YOUTH WRESTLING CLUB ON FACEBOOK FOR MORE INFORMATION!!
WE ALSO HAVE MULTIPLE PRE-SEASONS THROUGHOUT THE SUMMER. oNE PRE-SEASON PRIOR TO THE KHSAA DEAD PERIOD, AND THE SECOND ONE IMMIDIATELY AFTER THE DEAD PERIOD.
the winter competition season runs from mid october until early february. registeration for our winter competition season will be up soon!!

Matt Allen
Head Coach
Coach Allen is the current Aces Youth & Middle School Club and the Owensboro Catholic High Varsity & JV Head Coach with over 10 years of coaching experience. Coach Allen is available at anytime for questions or concerns via phone call or text at 270-993-7770 .
Eric Dewig
Associate Head Coach
Coach Dewig has over 20 years of coaching experience at the youth, middle school, and varsity levels. He wrestled in High School for Mater Dei in Evansville, Indiana where he captured multiple team state championships under Coach Gable.
Dalen Kimble
Assistant Coach
Coach Kimble is a current NCAA DII Wrestler with 3 years of coaching experience at the youth and middle school level. Coach Kimble was a Tennessee High School State Champion for Sycamore High School in Ashland City, TN.
Nolan McKelvy
Assistant Coach
Coach McKelvy is a current NCAA DII Wrestler and our newest club coach. Coach McKelvy wrestled at Hilliard Middle Senior High School in Callahan Florida. Coach McKelvy placed 5th in state his senior year with a record of 68-10.
